Who Are These People With So Many Personal Pets?
Melissa Tamberg-Heffron is an all-around animal lover who was badly bitten by the “horse bug” at the tender age of 7 and never recovered. She and husband, Tom --- also a lifelong animal lover --- have passed that passion on to sons Chase, Tanner and Braden, who help care for the entire Hooves & Paws herd. (Daughter Aubrey Lyn was born 11-20-10 and promises to be an animal enthusiast, as well!)

In addition to the Hooves & Paws critters, other family pets include four horses (Pax, Brody, Titan and Dusty), two Labrador Retrievers (Sasha and Abbey), a Golden Retriever (Maggie) and two cats (Francisco and Tillman).

We know from experience the precious connection shared between kids of all ages and animals of every shape and size. Our desire is to expose children who may not have access to their own furry friends to the unique critters we are fortunate enough to connect with every day. We’re paws-itive you’ll love our animals as much as we do!
